Ballasting tool - box with three holes and track guide. Available for 3-D printing on Thingiverse web site.
Brush the ballast off of the ties.
Add special white glue mix with a squeeze bottle:
- 6oz white glue
- 4oz water
- 1/2oz Photo-Flo (Ethylene Glycol) - available from Amazon
Ethylene Glycol is a super wetting agent and it causes the dilute glue to flow into the ballast.
After 15 minutes the glue has flowed through the ballast and bonded with the track base.
(The brushing job could have been better)
After an hour the glue is not visible.
.....and it's good enough for "the Buzzards we fly with!"
