USAX "TORPEDO" TANK CAR

This car is unique in that it is listed as a tank car but it is really a set of high pressure tanks for transporting Helium mounted on a flat car. It dates from around 1912-20. It was used by the U.S. Army Air Service when they used to use a lot of blimps for reconnaissance.
