ATSF 90429 GENERAL DYNAMICS WING CAR
The prototype car was built to haul C5A parts. The cars of this type are of a steel shell designed to prevent local idiots from shooting holes in aluminum aircraft parts. (The hazards of train travel through redneck territory.)
The car structure construction is cast resin. Styrene sheathing is used on the faces of the top shells. The entire lower side is cast as a one piece resin casting.
The model has 4 separate shells that make up the top and lift off for loading and unloading. The prototype car was designed for aluminum parts hauling thus only 4 axles carry this 89' car. Medium radii works well with this car. If you run full sized passenger cars, you can run this car. Decals are included.
