The cars are used to haul Boeing 747 nose and tail pieces from the Wichita, Kansas plant where Boeing has installed stretch presses to fabricate the compond curves in these components. These cars are very wide - 12 s.f. which adds to their massive look.

This car may be finished in a bright yellow as they were originally with the Boeing name applied to the sides. After the locals along the route applied 30-06 caliber bullet holes through the "O" in Boeing, the cars were repainted without the Boeing logo. This change eliminated having to repair bullet holes in the airplane components.

This kit requires filing to get the angled components to fit. The canopies may be made to be removed or joined together permanently.
